Explosion-proof slip ring assemblies

STEMMANN-TECHNIK GmbH developed a series of slip ring assemblies for areas exposed to explosion hazards, which comply with the specific requirements for these areas. Models with pressurised enclosures and pressure-resistant casings are available.

Protection classes, temperature classes and zones can be can be carried out according to customer specifications. The example shown is a pressure-resistant, enclosed combination of electrical power and data transmission with an additional fibre optic rotary connector for optical data transmission.

The complete unit has a borehole of 300 mm in the centre, which allows for additional media lead-through.
