FerryCHARGER - charging solutions for electric ferries

Under the brand name “FerryCHARGER” we offer different types of charging solutions for electric ferries.

The closed tower design of our “tower solution” for example protects the system components against external influences and is adapted to fit perfectly into the mooring area. As soon as the ferry approaches the rolling gates of the pantograph tower (land side) and the housing (ship side) open automatically.

Ferry charging system

Parallel to the docking of the ferry the charging station is activated by means of an onboard control system. As soon as the ferry reaches its docking position the charging pantograph connects during a few seconds to the onboard unit and the loading of the battery starts. Our ferry charging systems are able to compensate the tidal range and any movement of the ferry.
